At Harmony Nest, we prioritize transparency in how we use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and manage user data. This policy explains our AI-driven processes, international data transfers, and user rights.
1. AI Usage & Data Processing
1.1. AI-Generated Ideal Partner Portrait
Harmony Nest uses AI technology to analyze responses provided in the Application Form and generate a personalized Ideal Partner Portrait. This portrait is based on the user's stated preferences, values, relationship goals, and other personal attributes provided voluntarily.
1.2. AI Processing Mechanism
- User Input: Users complete the Application Form with detailed personal preferences and relationship expectations.
- Data Analysis: AI processes this data using predefined matchmaking criteria and psychological profiling models.
- Generated Portrait: Based on this analysis, AI creates a structured Ideal Partner Portrait, offering insights into compatibility traits, personality alignment, and potential partner attributes.
- User Review: Users can review and refine their preferences, ensuring the output aligns with their expectations.
1.3. No Fully Automated Matchmaking
Unlike some AI-driven matchmaking platforms, Harmony Nest does not use AI to make automatic partner matches. Instead, the AI tool acts as an assistant, helping users define their ideal match criteria, which can then be used in human-led matchmaking processes.
2. Data Collection & Usage
2.1. Collected Data
- User-Provided Information: Application Form responses, personal preferences, and demographic details.
- Behavioral Data: User interactions with AI-generated content.
- Technical Data: IP addresses, device identifiers, and session analytics.
2.2. Data Usage
- AI is only used for the Ideal Partner Portrait feature.
- AI-generated data is stored securely and is not used for automated decision-making beyond the stated purpose.
- Users can update or delete AI-generated data upon request.
3. International Data Transfers
3.1. Compliance with GDPR Article 46
If user data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure compliance with GDPR through:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable.
- Adequacy Decisions (if the receiving country has an EU-recognized adequate level of data protection).
- Encryption & Security Measures to protect data during transfer.
3.2. Third-Party Services
We work with third-party providers such as:
- Stripe (for payment processing)
- Rocket (for hosting services)
- Zoho One (Zoho CRM, Application Forms, and related services)
All third parties must adhere to GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
4. User Rights & Opt-Out Options
4.1. Your Rights Under GDPR
Users have the right to:
- Access AI-generated data.
- Request Corrections to AI-generated insights.
- Delete or Opt-Out of AI processing at any time.

4.2. Opting Out of AI Processing
Users who prefer not to have their data processed by AI can opt out by:
- Adjusting account settings on the Harmony Nest platform.
- Sending a request to support@harmony-nest.com with "AI Opt-Out" in the subject line.
5. Security & Compliance
- AI-generated data is stored securely and not used for advertising or profiling.
- Regular security audits ensure compliance with GDPR, Irish Data Protection Laws, and international AI regulations.
- AI processing is monitored and refined to align with ethical AI practices.
